Haulin' Time

Hello again! I've been a little naughty recently and have been ordering a few bits online here and there and I've finally accumulated enough to talk about in a post! It's not all bad though, i did get some things for a third off which saved me a few pennies!

I saw that Escentual were having a 1/3 off their french skincare and seeing as i needed a few bits i thought I'd take advantage of a deal! I picked up a few old favourites along with some new bits too.
Avene Rich Hydrating Cream, I love this little beauty it's a excellent cream for dry patches and i always come back to it.
La Roche Posay is a brand I've loved for a while now but I've not really branched out and tried much from them, i did pick up the Effaclar Duo + which i find has really helped with my acne scarring.
I thought I'd also try the Effaclar A.I. which is a targeted breakout corrector, i thought this could help me seeing as my chin is constantly being bombarded with spots recently!
The Effaclar Mat is a sebo-regulating moisturizer and is something I've been looking at for a while and finally added to my basket, I've tried it already and love how it works with my skin so far!
Last but not least Serozinc, I had been hearing amazing things about this and decided i needed it in my life! It's a fine mist targeted towards oily, blemish prone skin and so far so good, I like how refreshing it is.

Feel Unique also had a 1/3 off and I was running low on my FAB Facial Radiance Pads so i thought I'd pick the big tub up. 60 pads should last me a while, hopefully! I've replaced manual exfoliating with these nifty little pads and they work a charm, I don't think i could be without them now.

If you know me you should know that I'm always buying bits from Lush! I thought I'd try the self preserving version of Dream Cream partly because they didn't have the original one in store and honestly, I'm not a fan. I find this formula too greasy for my skin, it doesn't sink in too well and i wish i would have just ordered the online instead! I may have to get a dusting powder to help absorb some of the excess oil but i will use it eventually!
Whilst i was in there i wanted to try some new skincare things too and opted for Tea Tree Water, I usually go for Eau Roma Water and fancied a change and I'm really enjoying using it.
Angels On Bare Skin is the third cleanser I've tried from Lush and although i did get it in my mouth a few times and it can be a little hard to get into a nice paste it left my skin looking fresh and even a little brighter! I'm considering getting it again even though i have way too many cleaners at the moment...

I hardly buy new makeup, I'm more of a skincare junkie to be honest but i was in a 'lets buy new makeup' sort of mood, now i did re-purchase two mascaras that I love! Soap and Glory's Thick And Fast which i constantly buy and Barry M'S Showgirl which i usually use for my lower lashes because it doesn't flake and leave me looking like a panda.
I've also been on the hunt for a good eyeshadow primer that actually helps my eyeshadow to stay in place and not crease, I've not tried Soap and Glory's It's About Prime yet but I'll let you know if it's any good!

Have you ever thought back to a time when you really enjoyed a product and you no longer have it? I was thinking how much i really loved Seventeen's Mirror Shine Lipstick in Beehive It looks really natural on me, a 'my lips but better' shade if you will! I'm pretty sure the last time i had it it was still in the old metallic blue bullet and i think i even used the whole thing up, which is unheard of for me.

I also remember really liking Natural Collections Blush in Peach Melba, it's a really affordable brand and even though it's not got the best lasting power it's a really lovely blush if you're on a budget! I also thought I'd try a cream blush and Barry M's range stood out to me, i picked up the shade '1 Peach Melba' At the time i didn't realise they both had the same shade name, can't brands pick different names?!

Have you tried anything new recently?
